Notes:	This song was inspired by the work of Mary-Alice Pollard, Cornwall's Voice For Animals, in UK. We wrote it on the 22nd December and finished it on Paul's birthday, 27th Dec, and we are happy for it to be downloaded and shared to highlight the work of 'Musicians Against The Fur Trade' Contrary to our knowledge of this subject, the fur trade is very much thriving in China, where a multi-million pound business is packaging and labelling real animal fur as fake fur, and selling it to the rest of the world, in trinkets, and fur trims and clothing. As bad as this is, the worst part is that the animals, often dogs and cats, are alive when they are skinned. The animals are not killed humanely, they are not transported humanely, they are thrown around like rubbish before their deaths, in crates that hold up to 30 dogs in the smallest of spaces. How can we stand aside and let this continue? Paul McCartney and his wife Heather Mills-McCartney have vowed that they will do all they can to stop this terrible trade, and Paul McCartney has vowed not to play in China until this cruelty is addressed, you can read the info on the links below. It is important also to add that that majority of Chinese citizens do not wish this to be happening in their country, but the Chinese government has yet to stamp it out. If you can do anything we urge you to do it, be that writing to the Chinese government, writing a song, or adding your name to the petition. Please do something in the coming New Year to help to outlaw this terrible brutality, for the animals that have no way to help themselves. Singers/songwriters/artists/musicians, we have a voice, and we can use it! We believe there is nothing that we cannot do if we work together. Hurting animals is surely the same as hurting people, hurting the planet. The good people of this world can do much to change things for the better.
